FLUX MAGAZINE HAWAII

One of my newest favorite publications is Hawaii based FLUX magazine. These guys are awesome. I got a copy of their Summer 2010 issue at an art event a few weeks and it hasn't left my coffee table since. Their photos are crisp and cool, their color schemes are fresh, articles interesting, overall; their just on top of their game. Here's a link to their website which by the way is also ultra dope.

WE LOVE TIM GREEN.

"London based Tim Green is one of those producers who doesn't turn in a lot of filler tracks. For the most part when "TG" or Tim Green puts something out there, it has a strong sense of character and literally rocks a dancefloor to its core. There are few artists on the planet that are able to traverse genres and release music for such a wide range of labels, yet still have their own unique sound, Many world’s leading labels have recognized this, with Tim signing tracks and remixes on the likes of Get Physical, Cocoon, Dirtybird, Renaissance, Four:Twenty, Trapez, Cr2, Sci-tec, Southern Fried, Trapez and many more. Singles such as ‘Kitch-In’ ‘Mr.Dry’ ‘Revox’ & ‘Exercise’ have become anthems in the house and techno scene over the past 2 years. Whilst a string of high profile remixes for the likes of Tiefschwarz, Cassius, Claude Von Stroke, The Audio Bullys, Steve Lawler, Radioclit and more have further helped establish Tim as one of the most talked about producers of the past 2 years.

These talents have not gone unnoticed by the world biggest djs, and the level of support Tim has received on his productions has been quite staggering. The likes of Sven Vath, Pete Tong, Ritchie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Sasha & John Digweed, Josh Wink, Deadmu5, Tiefschwarz, Steve Lawler, MANDY, Dubfire, Ricardo Villalobos, Laurent Garnier, Slam, Claude Von Stroke, Nic Fanciulli, Steve Angello, Lee Burridge, Damian Lazerus, Anja Schnieder, and many more have consistently championed Tim’s music!

2010 looks set to be another huge year of growth for Tim as December 09 sees him release his second single with Sven Vath’s world famous Cocoon imprint entitled ‘Lone Time’. Whilst his huge remixes of Cassius & Claude Von Stroke get released in January 2010, and February sees his Debut release on Get Physical entitled ‘Old Sunshine’ which looks set to be Tim’s biggest release to date! With more singles nearly complete, and work already underway on Tim’s debut artist album, watch this space, as 2010 look set to be his biggest year yet!

So in just over 3 years, Tim has risen to working with the biggest djs and labels on the planet, and we haven’t even mentioned his djing yet! Tim has been found destroying dancefloors over recent times at some of the worlds best clubs such as Fabric, The End & T-Bar in London, Stealth in Nottingham, The Custard Factory Birmingham, Circus in Liverpool, Watergate, Tresor & The Weekend Club in Berlin, The Berlin Love Parade, Womb Tokyo, Compression LA, Airdrop New York, Tribe Festival in Brazil, Lost Baggage in Sydney, Mondo Madrid, Social Club Paris, Nuits Sonores festival in Lyon, Name Festival in Lille, The Hive in Zurich, The Loft Lausanne, Studio 80 & Sugar Factory in Amsterdam as well as a whole host of the best clubs in the world. This year alone has seen him do large tours of North America, South America & Australia and extensive European touring . It wont be long til you see the name Tim Green @ a club near you….
